This notice explains how Digital Clinical Safety collects and uses personal information when you visit digitalclinicalsafety.com, contact us, buy from us, join our member site or work with us.
Who we are
Digital Clinical Safety is a trading name of AnyRx Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 09358575), 792 Wickham Road, Croydon, Surrey, CR0 8EA. AnyRx Limited is the controller of your personal information. Contact us about privacy at yasmin@digitalclinicalsafety.com.
What we collect
Enquiries: your name, work email, company and message when you use our contact or consultation forms, or email us.
Newsletter: your email address if you sign up for news and updates.
Gap analysis: your name, work email, organisation and answers if you complete our Clinical Safety Gap Analysis.
Purchases and member site: your name, email, billing details and account login if you buy from our store or join the member site. Card payments are handled by our payment provider; we do not see or store your full card number.
Client work: business contact details of the people we work with, and project information you share with us under our engagement terms.
Website use: technical information such as IP address, browser, device and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
We do not ask for patient data through this website. Please do not include any patient-identifiable information in forms or emails to us.
How and why we use it
To reply to your enquiry and arrange consultations (legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, or steps before entering a contract).
To deliver our services, products and member site access, and to invoice you (contract).
To send your gap analysis results and follow up about them (consent, which you give when you submit the form).
To send our newsletter (consent; you can unsubscribe at any time).
To keep financial and tax records (legal obligation).
To run, secure and improve the website (legitimate interests, and your consent where non-essential cookies are used).
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf under contract, including Squarespace (website hosting, forms, member site, email campaigns, analytics and payments) and Tally (gap analysis forms). We may share information with our professional advisers, or where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers
Some of our providers store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards UK data protection law allows, such as UK adequacy regulations, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and gap analysis responses that do not lead to work: up to 2 years.
Client, contract and financial records: 6 years after the end of the engagement or financial year.
Newsletter details: until you unsubscribe.
Member site accounts: while your account is active, then up to 2 years.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to make the website work and, with your consent, analytics cookies to understand how it is used. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Preferences link at the bottom of every page.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal information, and to ask us to correct, delete or restrict it, to object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email us at the address above. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
